Kauniste Sokeri Cushion.
Hand printed cushion cover from Kauniste, Finland.
The grey & blue patterns resemble sugar bowls & jelly sweets sprinkled with sugar; Sokeri is the Finnish word for sugar.
Founded by young Finnish designers and craftsmen in Helsinki 2008, Kauniste produce hand printed linens inspired by traditional Scandinavian textiles.
They combine the traditional craft of screen printing, with the modern ideas of young scandinavian designers, making products with waterbased, non-toxic inks, that can, through the skill of their craftsman, still out live today's mass produced products.
